1 General Terms

These Terms and Conditions apply to training camps organised and sold by Endurance Training Society Consultancy and Studies (F.Z.C.), trading as Endurance Training Society Global ("ETS" or the "Organiser"). ETS is registered in Ajman Free Zone, United Arab Emirates, under licence number 54974. Its registered address and contact details appear above.

By completing a camp booking, participants agree to these Terms and Conditions and the camp details accepted at the time of booking.

These are standalone terms for ETS Global camp bookings. The Dubai coaching membership terms published elsewhere on the ETS website are not incorporated into this camp agreement. The confirmed camp description and any specific arrangements expressly agreed in writing form part of the booking. Nothing in these documents limits mandatory rights.

ETS will identify the Organiser in the booking confirmation and provide a copy of the agreed booking details and these terms in a form the participant can retain. Participants retain all mandatory consumer and travel protection rights applicable to their booking. The governing law is set out in Section 22.

2 Booking and Payment

Full payment (100%) is required at the time of booking to secure a camp place. A booking is confirmed only once ETS has received full payment and issued written booking confirmation. If ETS cannot accept a booking after payment has been taken, it will return that payment without undue delay.

The final booking price and available payment currencies are shown before checkout. Where a price is displayed in a currency that is not available for payment, it is a comparison estimate only and is not a guaranteed exchange rate or payment quote. Any accommodation upgrade or optional extra will be clearly priced before the participant agrees to it.

Banks and payment providers may apply their own conversion rates or fees, which ETS does not set. Any refund will be calculated from the amount actually paid in the original transaction currency, after any lawful cancellation charge, and returned through the original payment method unless another method is agreed or required by law. Exchange-rate differences or bank fees may affect the amount received in the participant's home currency, without limiting mandatory rights.

Any membership discounts or promotional offers must be applied at the time of booking and cannot be claimed retrospectively unless ETS agrees otherwise. Camp places are limited and subject to availability.

3 Camp Inclusions and Exclusions

The services included in each camp vary. The relevant camp booking page and confirmation will identify the dates, destination, accommodation, room category, training programme, meals, facility access and other included services, together with any limits or access arrangements.

Services stated as included form part of the agreed camp price and will not attract an additional charge. The final booking price will clearly identify any applicable compulsory taxes and charges before payment. Any optional meals, drinks, upgrades or services outside the confirmed inclusions will be separately priced and require the participant's agreement.

Flights, airport transfers and bike hire are not included unless expressly stated as included in the confirmed camp package. The following are also excluded unless expressly included:

  • Other international or local transport;
  • Visas and other travel documentation;
  • Travel and medical insurance;
  • Personal sporting equipment;
  • Personal expenses, additional meals, drinks and optional activities;
  • Other services not identified as included in the confirmed camp package.

Participants are responsible for reviewing all published camp details before booking. The confirmed camp description and booking confirmation form part of the agreement.

4 Cancellation and Refund Policy

Participants wishing to cancel must email info@endurancets.com with their booking details. The date ETS receives the written request determines the applicable cancellation period.

Standard cancellation charges are calculated against the total confirmed booking price actually paid, after discounts. The table below is subject to the adjustments and mandatory rights explained in this section.

Cancellation noticeCancellation chargeRefund
More than 90 days before camp10%90%
61–90 days before camp25%75%
60 days or fewer before camp100%No refund*

* The additional replacement booking exception in Section 5 may apply. The standard charges are subject to adjustment where required by law; they do not override statutory refund rights.

Cancellation periods are measured in calendar days before the advertised camp start date, using local time at the camp destination, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

Standard charges are intended to reflect anticipated administration, accommodation and supplier commitments, and other costs of organising the camp. Charges must be reasonable and justifiable under applicable law. ETS will account for costs saved, recoverable supplier payments and income from alternative bookings where required, and reduce a charge accordingly. On request, ETS will explain the charge and provide any breakdown required by law.

Nothing in this policy limits mandatory cancellation, termination, refund or other consumer rights. Where applicable package-travel law gives a right to cancel without a fee because unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances significantly affect the camp or travel to the destination, ETS will honour that right. ETS will explain relevant statutory rights when dealing with a cancellation.

ETS will issue any cancellation refund due without undue delay and within 14 calendar days after the cancellation, unless a shorter statutory deadline applies. An additional refund that becomes due later because a replacement booking is secured is handled under Section 5. An independently due statutory refund will never be delayed while ETS seeks a replacement.

5 Replacement Booking Exception

If a participant cancels 60 days or fewer before camp, ETS will make reasonable efforts to fill the vacant place with another eligible paying participant, but cannot guarantee a replacement. If ETS receives full payment for a replacement booking of equivalent camp value and accommodation category, the original participant will be eligible for a refund of 90% of their original booking payment, subject to any greater refund required by law.

Where an equivalent replacement booking is secured under this exception, ETS will retain a flat cancellation fee of 10% of the original confirmed booking price actually paid, after discounts, and refund the remaining 90%. The fee covers administration and work involved in managing the cancellation and securing the replacement. Any greater refund required by mandatory law will be honoured.

  • An equivalent replacement means the same accommodation category and camp package value.
  • The replacement booking must be confirmed and fully paid.
  • The original participant may suggest a replacement, subject to eligibility. A direct transfer is handled separately under Section 7.
  • ETS will keep the original participant informed if a qualifying replacement is secured.
  • If the replacement has a different value or room category, ETS will calculate a fair and proportionate refund, taking account of any remaining justified costs and mandatory rights.

Any additional refund under this exception will be issued within 14 calendar days after ETS receives full payment for the replacement, unless an earlier statutory deadline applies. This timing does not postpone a statutory refund already due independently of a replacement booking.

6 Injury, Illness and Personal Circumstances

A participant who cannot attend because of injury, illness, work commitments, family circumstances or other personal reasons will ordinarily be subject to the standard cancellation policy, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.

ETS strongly recommends obtaining appropriate travel cancellation insurance immediately after booking. ETS may consider alternative arrangements or discretionary flexibility on a case-by-case basis without affecting statutory rights.

When considering discretionary flexibility, ETS may request limited, reasonable evidence, such as confirmation that a participant is unable to attend. A detailed medical history should not be supplied unless necessary and specifically requested through an appropriate secure process.

7 Transfer of Bookings

Participants may request to transfer a booking to another eligible person by contacting ETS in writing as early as possible, preferably at least seven days before camp.

A substitute participant must meet the camp's fitness and participation criteria and accept these terms. ETS may charge only reasonable, documented and lawful costs resulting from the transfer, with a breakdown on request. The 10% fee in Section 5 does not automatically apply to a transfer; ETS will not charge twice for the same cost.

Where package-travel law provides a right to transfer, ETS will honour that right and any applicable notice, cost and information requirements.

8 Cancellation by ETS

ETS may cancel a camp where it cannot reasonably proceed, including unavoidable circumstances outside its control or failure to meet a minimum participation condition disclosed before booking. ETS will explain the reason in writing. If a booking is subject to such a condition, the relevant minimum and cancellation deadline will be given in the camp booking information and confirmation.

Where cancellation results from insufficient participants, ETS will notify affected participants at least 60 days before the advertised start date.

If ETS cancels a camp, participants will receive a full refund of payments made for the cancelled booking. A participant may instead voluntarily choose an available alternative camp or credit. ETS will not impose an alternative or credit in place of a refund.

ETS will issue the refund without undue delay and no later than 14 calendar days after cancellation, unless a shorter statutory deadline applies. Any additional right to compensation under applicable law is preserved.

ETS is not ordinarily responsible for independently booked flights, hotels or other external expenses, except where liability arises under applicable law.

9 Changes to Camp Itineraries and Activities

ETS aims to deliver the advertised training programme but may reasonably adjust session times, routes, coaches, venues or individual activities in response to weather, road closures, safety concerns, facility availability, operational needs or circumstances outside its control.

Where reasonably possible, ETS will provide suitable alternatives. Minor operational changes, such as adjustments to session times or cycling routes, do not automatically entitle participants to a refund, subject to mandatory rights.

A significant change is a material alteration to an essential contracted service. Examples include removal of a core training day or a substantial reduction in accommodation quality; these examples are not exhaustive. ETS will explain significant changes and any available choices. Participants retain applicable rights to suitable alternatives, cancellation, price reductions, refunds and compensation.

10 Fitness, Health and Participation

ETS camps can include physically demanding cycling, swimming, running and strength activities. The required fitness, experience and technical skills, together with any ability-group arrangements, will be stated in the relevant camp description. Participants must review these requirements and ensure they can safely take part in the advertised activities. Participants who are unsure about suitability should contact ETS before booking.

Participants agree to:

  • Inform ETS of relevant health conditions, injuries or limitations affecting safe participation;
  • Seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional where appropriate;
  • Follow reasonable instructions from coaches and staff;
  • Manage their own effort, nutrition, hydration and recovery;
  • Stop exercising and inform a coach if they experience unusual pain, illness or symptoms.

ETS may modify or restrict activities when reasonably necessary for safety and will explain the basis of the decision. A restriction does not by itself determine refund entitlement, which will be assessed according to the circumstances and applicable law. Coaching does not replace medical advice, and no particular race result or performance improvement is guaranteed.

Participants must be aged 18 or over on the first day of camp.

11 Safety and Participant Conduct

Participants must follow reasonable safety instructions, wear suitable cycling helmets whenever cycling, and comply with local traffic regulations and venue requirements.

Participants must treat coaches, other participants, accommodation providers and the public respectfully. ETS may restrict or remove participation for serious unsafe conduct, harassment, abuse, discrimination or repeated refusal to follow reasonable safety instructions. ETS may act immediately where necessary for safety, explain the decision as soon as reasonably practicable, and provide a written explanation of removal from camp.

Any refund entitlement following removal will depend on the circumstances and applicable law.

12 Insurance Requirements

Participants are required to hold appropriate medical and emergency insurance valid at the camp destination and covering all sporting activities undertaken, including road cycling and open-water swimming where applicable.

For overseas camps, participants must ensure that insurance provides suitable emergency treatment and assistance, including repatriation where appropriate.

ETS strongly recommends additional coverage for trip cancellation, accidents, equipment damage, theft or loss of belongings, and third-party liability.

ETS may request reasonable evidence of the required insurance before participation, such as a policy certificate or relevant coverage summary, and will specify what is needed. Participants should avoid sending unrelated sensitive information. Athlete insurance does not replace any insurance, insolvency protection or other financial security that ETS is legally required to maintain as an organiser.

13 Travel Documentation

Participants are responsible for holding valid passports, visas, entry permissions and other travel or health documents required for the destination.

ETS is not ordinarily responsible where a participant cannot travel or is refused entry because of insufficient or incorrect documentation. Any resulting cancellation is normally subject to the standard cancellation policy, subject to mandatory law.

14 Accommodation and Room Arrangements

Where accommodation forms part of the booking, it will be provided in accordance with the room category selected and confirmed at booking. Where offered, participants may choose shared or single-occupancy accommodation, subject to availability.

Participants are welcome to attend on their own. Where overnight accommodation is included, a participant travelling alone should book a private room unless ETS has expressly agreed a shared arrangement in writing before booking. ETS recommends sharing with someone the participant knows. Participants may contact ETS to ask whether another athlete is also looking to share; ETS does not guarantee that a suitable roommate will be available.

Shared bookings should identify the intended roommate, with the arrangement confirmed by ETS in writing. If a confirmed roommate cancels, the remaining participant may arrange another eligible person to take the vacant place, subject to ETS confirming the replacement and room arrangements. If the participant cannot find a replacement, ETS will also seek a suitable replacement. Neither ETS nor the participant can guarantee that one will be available.

The remaining participant may instead request an upgrade to a private room, subject to availability. ETS will quote any additional price and obtain written agreement before changing the booking. If no suitable replacement is found and the participant does not wish to upgrade, they may cancel their own booking; any refund will be assessed under Section 4 and, where applicable, Section 5. This does not limit any greater refund, cancellation or other right arising under mandatory law, including rights relating to a significant change to the confirmed booking. No new supplement will be imposed without agreement.

Participants must comply with reasonable accommodation-provider rules and may be responsible for damage they cause beyond normal wear and tear, to the extent permitted by law.

A significant adverse change to contracted accommodation will be handled in accordance with applicable package-travel and consumer rights.

15 Personal Equipment and Bike Hire

Participants must ensure their equipment is safe, suitable and properly maintained. ETS may prevent use of equipment reasonably considered unsafe, explain the concern and, where possible, suggest alternatives. Immediate action may be taken where necessary for safety.

Bike hire and other optional services booked independently are governed by the relevant supplier's terms, including any damage and insurance arrangements. Unless expressly included in the confirmed camp package, participants arrange and pay for these services themselves.

Nothing in this section removes ETS’s responsibility for any third-party service that is part of a package organised by ETS or otherwise contracted by ETS, where applicable law imposes such responsibility.

16 Early Departure and Missed Activities

Participants who voluntarily leave camp early, miss scheduled sessions or choose not to participate in activities will not ordinarily be entitled to refunds for unused services. This generally also applies where injury or illness prevents a participant from continuing.

This provision does not affect mandatory rights to refunds, price reductions or compensation arising from ETS’s failure to provide contracted services.

17 Liability and Assumption of Risk

Endurance sports involve inherent risks, including falls, collisions, physical injury, illness and accidents. Participants acknowledge those risks and must exercise reasonable care for themselves and others.

ETS will take reasonable care in organising and delivering the camp. ETS is not responsible for losses caused solely by a participant's failure to follow reasonable safety instructions, misuse of equipment, or circumstances for which ETS has no legal responsibility under applicable law. Acknowledging sporting risks does not waive any legal right that cannot lawfully be waived.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, mandatory package-travel obligations or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

18 Medical Emergencies

In the event of an accident, injury or medical emergency, ETS may contact emergency services and assist in arranging appropriate care where reasonably necessary.

Participants must provide accurate emergency contact details before attending. Medical, ambulance and hospital costs will ordinarily be borne by the participant or insurer, except where ETS is legally responsible for those costs.

19 Photography and Media

ETS may take photographs or videos for appropriate camp administration and documentary purposes, subject to applicable privacy requirements. ETS will obtain separate, optional consent before using identifiable participant images for advertising, marketing or social media.

Participants may decline promotional use or withdraw their consent by emailing info@endurancets.com without affecting camp participation. ETS will stop further use based on withdrawn consent and address existing material in accordance with applicable law. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of use before consent was withdrawn.

20 Personal Information and Privacy

Endurance Training Society Consultancy and Studies (F.Z.C.) is responsible for personal information collected for its camp bookings. ETS may process contact and booking details, payment information, emergency contacts and relevant health information where necessary for camp administration, participant safety, delivery of services or legal obligations, using an appropriate lawful basis and consent where required.

Only necessary information will be shared with relevant coaches, service providers or emergency professionals for an appropriate purpose. Health information will receive appropriate confidentiality and safeguards. ETS will apply the protections required for any international transfer of personal information.

Before collecting personal information, ETS will provide the privacy information required by applicable law, including who receives the data, retention arrangements and how participants can exercise their rights. This must identify the Global company and cover the camp's booking and health information. Personal data will be handled in accordance with applicable data-protection law, including the GDPR where applicable. Privacy enquiries may be sent to info@endurancets.com.

21 Complaints and Disputes

Participants should raise concerns with an ETS coach or representative as soon as reasonably possible during camp, so issues can be addressed promptly.

Formal complaints may be emailed to info@endurancets.com. ETS will acknowledge them within seven calendar days and aim to provide a substantive response within 14 calendar days. If more time is needed, ETS will explain why and give an expected response date. These targets do not delay urgent assistance or restrict statutory rights.

22 Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions and camp bookings are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and the laws applicable in the Emirate of Ajman. Subject to any mandatory rights to bring proceedings elsewhere, the competent courts of Ajman, United Arab Emirates, will have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from a camp booking.

Nothing in this clause removes mandatory consumer or package-travel protections, prevents a participant from bringing proceedings in a court whose jurisdiction cannot lawfully be excluded, or overrides mandatory local requirements applicable to the camp.

23 Final Agreement

By completing a booking, participants confirm that they have had an opportunity to read these terms and the camp details, understand the payment and cancellation policy, have reviewed the camp's demands, acknowledge the inherent risks of endurance sport, and agree to reasonable safety and participation requirements.

The terms accepted at the time of booking apply to the confirmed booking. Later changes will not retrospectively alter that agreement unless agreed by the parties or required by law.

If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. This does not restrict a participant's mandatory rights.
